Cartography 1:5.000 (BTB)

  • Compellingly benchmark distributed

The 1:5000 scale cartography or Biscay Topographic Base (BTB) is a set of topographic vector data. It was generated on the basis of a 25 cm photogrammetric flight carried out by the Basque Government in the summer of 2021. The mapping was carried out by means of photogrammetric restitution, updating the layers of the following subjects: geographical names, transport, hydrography, relief, land cover, buildings and services and facilities. Information relating to the Foral Road Network of February 2022.

Provenance
The 1:5000 scale cartography or Biscay Topographic Base (BTB) is a set of topographic vector data in the ETRS89 geodetic reference system and "UTM zone 30N" coordinate system. The updating of the different phenomena in the dataset is carried out by means of photogrammetric restitution of the most up-to-date 0.25m flight made by the Basque Government. Information relating to roads and information on GV toponyms from a specific date is incorporated. BTB data model and list of CAD layers.
