  • Tide table

    Tide calendar (low and high tides) on the coast of Bizkaia for each day of the year. The resource contains data from 2025 onwards. Tide data for the following year are provided at the end of the current year.

    Tide table for the year 2024. The lack of some measurements is due to the fact that, as they are not perfect 24-hour cycles, from time to time there is a "jump" in the tide that does not fit in two consecutive days, after midnight it is considered to be the following day.

    Information on the status of Bizkaia's beaches from June to September (both included). The resource contains data from 2024 onwards. The following daily data is included: flag color, weather, wind intensity, wave intensity, ambient temperature, water temperature, occupancy level, and the presence of jellyfish. Data for the current year are made available starting in October of that same year, once the beach season has ended.

    Information on the state of the beaches by 2023 (season ended). In the case of beaches shared by several municipalities, the register has been replicated in order to have the information for each municipality.

    Information on the characteristics, equipment, and services offered at Bizkaia's beaches. The resource contains data from 2024 onwards. Among many others, the following data is included: beach dimensions, wave intensity, number of showers, and number of lifeguards. Data for the current year are made available before June of that same year, before the beach season has started.

    Information on the number of interventions (assistances) provided by lifeguards on Bizkaia's beaches from June to September (both included). Data are presented according to the cause of the intervention: jellyfish stings, burns, water currents, etc. The resource contains data from 2019 onwards. Data for the current year are made available starting in October of that same year, once the beach season has ended.
